With her family background in business, Rachana Shah (who has done her
M. Tech. and was a Professor in an engineering college) was always keen on
doing something of her own. Having tasted success in her previous
business of healthy snacks, she wanted to get into a business of two things
she loved the most - kids & fashion!
Mihir Shah (who has completed his MBA from NMIMS Mumbai and B.Tech.
from University of Pune) who had worked in the Marketing and Strategy
roles at Amway and Swiggy was already bitten by the startup bug and
wanted to start a business.
Seeing the customer love and traction Rachana was getting with Desi
Tales, Mihir decided to quit his plush job to help Rachana grow her baby
and that’s how Desi Tales was born!
