Returns/Exchanges

We are glad that you chose to support a homegrown business like ours! 

Every product at Desi Tales has been made with a lot of love, and we hope you will not need to use this page. However, in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, we invite you to review our policy on returns, exchanges and refunds.

The following terms are applicable for any products that you’ve purchased from us:

  1. We do not accept any return requests under any circumstances.

  2. Exchanges can only be booked once per order. Items that have already been exchanged are not eligible for further return or exchange. Read details below.

  3. Items bought on a discount of 50% or above are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances.

Cancellations:

If you have placed an order by mistake and wish to cancel it, please email us immediately at desitales.co.in@gmail.com AND contact us on +91-9579-866-246  with 'ORDER CANCELLATION' in the subject line. Please mention your order number at the time of cancellation.

  1. If we have not worked on your order (meaning we have not printed/packed your order), we will give you a full refund within 7 working days after receiving your bank details.

  2. If your cancellation request is received after we have shipped your order, you will need to reject the product delivery when the Delivery Executive comes to deliver it to you. In such an event, we will apply a standard deduction of Rs. 150 as processing fee and refund you the balance within 7 days after we receive the product back.


Undelivered orders:

  1. We request you to always double check your address & phone number before placing your order.

  2. Once shipped, we will not be able to make any changes to your order.

  3. The courier partner will return orders with wrong or incomplete shipping information back to us.

  4. Once returned to us, we will deduct a processing fee of Rs 150 and refund you the balance. You can place a fresh order with updated details.

  5. In case you are travelling/unable to accept delivery, kindly inform your neighbours/security guards to accept the order. Once the delivery attempt threshold is reached, the order will be returned to us. In such cases, we will deduct a processing fee of Rs. 150 and refund you the balance. You can place a fresh order once you are back to collect the delivery.

Exchanges:

Sometimes when you shop online, you may go wrong with the size you buy. It is always recommended to check the size chart properly before placing the order but still if you wish to exchange do connect with us within 7 days of receiving the order. Exchange fee of Rs. 150 will be applicable.

  1. You can raise a exchange request by writing to us at desitales.co.in@gmail.com and can connect with us at +91-9579-866-246 (Whatsapp between 10am-7pm except Sundays) within 7 days of receiving your order.

  2. Please raise your exchange request within 7 days of receiving your order beyond which you will not be able to get it exchanged.

  3. Once we receive your request, we will arrange for the return pick up. Please keep the item packed with the original bill and tags. We will email you a label which you will have to put on the return parcel.

  4. No request would be accepted if it is raised after 7 days of receiving the shipment.

  5. All exchanges will be done after we receive the returns and assess it for any damages.

  6. If you want to exchange your product with another product of lower value, we will ship the desired product/size. You will be issued a credit note for the balance amount, to use on your next purchase

  7. If you want to exchange your product with another design/product of higher value, we will send you a payment link for the balance amount. Upon payment, your new order will be confirmed and shipped out. 

  8. Products received back by us in a damaged state will not be eligible for an exchange.

  9. Parcel opening video is mandatory to claim the delivery of wrong/damaged products at your address. Without this, we will not be able to entertain any requests.

 Refunds:

  1. Shipping charges are not refundable. You will be refunded only for the product being returned.

  2. For orders that availed Free Shipping during initial purchase (due to any ongoing offers), a processing fee of Rs. 150 will be deducted while issuing a refund.

  3. Please raise your refund request within 7 days of receiving your order.

  4. No return, exchange and refund request would be accepted if it is raised after 7 days of receiving the shipment.
